There is no time for a hangover when you are a farmer...

...or to sleep.

So last night was the birthday of one of the milkers at jock's dairy farm. i was invited over for a birthday party so, of course, i went. It was a lot of fun and i met a bunch of people and played a coulpe games of pool. However, there might have been some alcoholic beverages served...and one of the guys that was supposed to milk the next morning (at like 5) drank a little too much....so guess who was asked to help milk? You got it...me! I got up a little after 4 i think after a night of partying...milked cows until about 7, then got back to jenny's to help out with the cows and worked all morning until 12. Ate lunch and then....took a nap :) so maybe there is a little bit of time to sleep.

It's a good thing i wasn't really too hungover...i mean dehydrated haha...i don't know how these milkers do it everyday. Oh yea - i also got paid for helping out! woohoo! :) i totally wasn't expecting that. and i'm becoming a pretty good milker. who knows...maybe i was meant to work with cows :)

So, Pamela, what type of beverages does one indulge in while playing pool in New Zealand? And I guess you really are becoming a farmer if you are getting paid to milk the cows! Hope you are feeling more rested and hydrated!
Love you....

Glad to see you have a new trade. Early rising is an occupational hazard. Glad you could get up early. Love
